FROM THE GROUND TO MY HANDS
I have a thing for rocks. Clearly. I built a whole damn website about them.
A lot of the stones you see here start with me wandering around outside, staring at the ground like I've lost something. Sometimes I find something. Sometimes I probably just look suspicious. I bring the good ones home, cut them open, shape them, grind them, polish them, and find out what they've been hiding in there for the last few million years. No pressure.
That's probably my favorite part. A rock most people would walk right past can be absolutely incredible inside. And until I make that first cut, half the time I don't know what I'm getting either. It's basically geological gambling, except somehow I ended up owning more power tools.
Then I turn the ones I love into something you can actually wear, display, or give to somebody you really like. I don't want perfect, factory-looking stones. That's not the point. I like the weird edges, patterns, scars and little imperfections that let you know this came out of the earth, not a machine.
Most of what you see here is one of a kind. I couldn't make another exactly like it if I tried because the next rock is going to do whatever the hell it wants. Everything is handmade by me in Westwood, California. When it's gone, it's gone.
Natural stone. One of a kind. Made by hand.
